Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the FNBRMENA application ("Application") for mobile devices and related web services, operated by Ziyad N. Alkhunayfir ("Service Provider") as a free service. The service is intended for use "AS IS".

We collect and process the following information in connection with the Application and your account.

Account & profile

• Email address and display name
• Password (stored in hashed form only)
• Account creation time and time zone preference
• Optional: push notification token (for sending you notifications)
• Email verification status, two-factor authentication status, and last password change (for security)

Sign-in & sessions

When you sign in we create a session and may store:

• Your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Platform or device type (e.g. iOS, Android)
• Login time; we also keep a record of past login times

App usage (analytics)

To improve the Application and understand how it is used, we record app sessions:

• Session start and end time, total duration, and periodic "heartbeats" while the app is in use
• This applies both to logged-in users and to anonymous use (before you create an account). Anonymous sessions use an anonymous identifier that is not tied to your identity unless you later register and we merge that data as described in our systems.

In-app activity

When you use features such as voting, reminders, or bookmarks, we store:

• Votes on in-app items (e.g. cosmetic ratings)
• Reminders you set (e.g. for specific items and dates)
• Bookmarks (items you save), with creation time

These are linked to your account and to in-app identifiers (e.g. cosmetic IDs), not to your real-world identity beyond your account.

Security & compliance

• We may store IP addresses associated with enforcement actions (e.g. banned IPs) where necessary for security and abuse prevention.
• We keep an audit log of certain actions (e.g. login, logout, password change, two-factor changes, account changes) for security and compliance.

Verification (temporary)

For email verification, password reset, or similar flows we temporarily store verification requests (e.g. one-time codes and expiry). These are removed after use or expiry.

We do not collect precise real-time location from your device.

We use the information above to provide, secure, and improve the Application; to operate your account (e.g. login, password reset, push notifications); to analyze usage (e.g. session analytics); and to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We may use your email to send you important notices, required communications, or (where permitted) marketing; you can opt out of non-essential emails where we offer that option.

Only aggregated or anonymized data may be shared with external services to help us improve the Application. We may share information as described in this policy. The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Services
• OneSignal (push notifications)
• Expo

We may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information: (a) as required by law (e.g. subpoena or similar process); (b) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or others’ safety, or to investigate fraud or respond to government request; (c) to trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not use the information for their own purposes, and agree to the rules in this privacy statement.

You can stop collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it using your device’s or app store’s standard uninstall process.

We retain your data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you would like us to delete your user-provided data or account, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13. The Application is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. We care about safeguarding your information. We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page (and updating the effective date where appropriate). Please review this policy periodically; continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy and as we may amend it.
